  There are a lot of you (bohm, sir, spoletta, coded logic and more) who have concluded he is guilty based on supposed "EVIDENCE".

  I think the issue here is you seem not to understand how proper inference works. I don't have to see you rob a bank to have good reasons for thinking you might be involved. If I have you on tape saying, "I sure would like to have all the money in that bank" - if your immediate associates are being investigated by the FBI for the robbery - and if your bank account suddenly rockets into the millions - than yeah, I'd say there's a pretty good chance you might be involved.
  

  This is the same position we find ourselves in with the Trump campaign. And when I say, "We have multiple lines of evidence all closing in on the fact that Trump's campaign colluded with the Russians" - that is NOT the same thing as "Trump is guilty".

  It'd be really nice if you could engage honestly instead of just continually strawmaning people and attacking them for positions that they don't hold.

  This is NOT a courtroom. There is no judge. There is no jury. This is a group of people talking about what they think is likely to have happened and what they think is likely to happen.

  To object to a persons claims because it wouldn't result in a courtroom conviction is as silly as it is pedantic.

It is the same argument every time you just change the subject to Clinton. Until Trump stops lying every single day and shows us his tax return, he has NO credibility in my opinion.

  You act upset that Clinton put her e-mails on the wrong server - but when Trump hands Code Word information directly to the Russians he gets a free pass.

  We have multiple lines of evidence all closing in on the fact that Trump's campaign colluded with the Russians. I wish he would wake up and smell the evidence. He's fooled himself into thinking Trump can do no wrong.

  IMO, Trump apologist should only get one post a day, just so we can see if they have finally come to their senses. Their constant conservative copy-pasting fake news is making it impossible to have a rational discussion.

  Are you sure those are the only 2 options? I can think of at least a few more:

  3: Comey was building a case about Trump interfering with an ongoing FBI investigation.

  4: Comey was seeking to preserve the Russia Investigation and did not want to bias his agents.

  5: Comey felt his words alone were not sufficient to bring charges against the President of the United States.

  6: Comey was considering rolling a Obstruction of Justice charge in with the Russian Investigation.

  I'm not really sure why people are trying to make an issue out of this. It's very common for law enforcement officials to hold off on pursuing smaller charges so as to not compromise larger investigations.

  You don't pull over a drug trafficker for speeding when he's on his way to pick up a cocaine shipment. And the criminal saying, "well the officer knew I was speeding and didn't stop me" in no way gets him out of trouble for either speeding or drug trafficking.

  But I do agree with you. It will be interesting to see what Comey has to say. I can't wait until he testifies!

  I'll also add that Comey's answer is 100% correct. The State Department has never stopped an FBI investigation. Outside of Nixon, I don't think they've even tried to.

  I think you may be taking the answer out of context. Comey was referencing if the Department of Justice could stop an investigation. He was NOT saying that Trump had never asked him to stop an investigation. Here's the transcript:
